The Agenda of August

The Berliner summer is not over! Before thinking about the start of a new working year, enjoy all the activities that the German capital offers you this August!

From 4 to 6 of August 2017, you can enjoy beers from all around the world on the well-known Karl-Marx-Allee, for the International Beer Festival. On “the biggest Biergarten in the world”, you will also have fun listening to the many concerts scheduled.

Another international festival, the “Pop-Kultur”, celebrates pop culture with concerts, lectures and other events, and attracts artists from all over the world. After a first edition in 2015 in the most famous club of Berlin, the Berghain, it moved to Neukölln in 2016 and will be held this year at the “Kulturbrauerei”, from 23 to 28 of August 2017.

Film lovers, you will not be left out this summer! The “Vive la France!” festival celebrates the French silent films by screenings of well-known movies accompanied on the piano and the theater organ. The event is free! The festival will take place from 3 to 13 of August at the Babylon cinema.

Finally, on the night of 19 of August, the Berliner museums open their doors to welcome visitors. The Long Night of Museums is the opportunity to discover or rediscover their collections and exhibitions and to enjoy many events. It is necessary to buy your tickets in advance.
